Discover how connecting with heritage and the historic environment can be utilized for social prescribing. Established programs and experimental pilots demonstrate how heritage-led approaches deliver tangible benefits for individuals struggling with mental health issues, loneliness, isolation, and dementia. These approaches could be integrated into social prescribing pathways. With the launch of the new Heritage and Social Prescribing Advice Hub on NASP's website, individuals are invited to gather insights and inspiration from evidence, case studies, and practical tips on using heritage activities for social prescribing and wellbeing improvement.
Kirkham is featured in this event. Helen Shearn and Sue Flowers have been invited to speak about the Heritage, Health and Wellbeing - Phoenix Rising programme in Kirkham.
