Notice To Resident- 14 June, Paving work to the 'Ginnel'

June 13, 2024

Kindly note that the passageway known as 'Ginnel', connecting the community centre car park and Poulton Street, will be inaccessible from, June 14. This closure is necessary to facilitate the installation of the paving 'Artwork' and to complete the final grouting process.

Eric Wright Civil Engineering will make every effort to complete these works as soon as possible with a view to keeping any disruption to a minimum, although the works are weather-dependent and cannot be completed during heavy rain.

Access from the Community Centre Car Park and lower Mill Street Car Park will be via other existing exits highlighted above in blue.

Drivers or pedestrians requiring a level exit from Mill Street Car Park to High Street are recommended to park in the lower section of the car park and exit behind the United Reformed Church onto Poulton Street. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
